The St. Louis Taoist Association was created in 2007 in order to spread the ancient teachings of Wudang Taoism to Western society and the St. Louis area. It is the goal of the STA to teach classes, seminars and lectures about Wudang culture and the Taoist arts including ancient texts, Wudang kung fu, Taiji (Tai Chi), meditation and spiritual development. The STA arranges private study at Wudang Mountain and plans to host trips to China in the future.
