About the STA
In 2007, the St. Louis Taoist Association with the guidance of Wudang Taoist Priest, Master Yun Xiang Tseng, was created with the mission to establish an authentic Wu Dang Taoist Monastery in North America. It is our aim to preserve the ancient culture that is on the brink of destruction in China and to continue to teach communities this ancient wisdom tradition.
Thanks to a significant anonymous donation, in April 17, 2012, Master Tseng (Chen) was able to purchase Aspen Lodge Estes Park, in a joint venture with the Association for Chinese American Enrichment, Inc. taking the first steps in making our mission a reality.
Earlier this year Master Chen formed the Daoist Association USA (DAO USA), our "Church of the Dao." The Association for Chinese American Enrichment, our 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit cultural exchange entity, will raise funds for DAO USA until its 501(c) 3 status is finalized.
